Overview: The John Molson Executive Centre (JMEC) is organizing a workshop on climate change and governance with approximately 50 participants to be held on March 28, from 7am to 9:30am. We are seeking assistance from a thorough and detailed-minded student in journalism to 1) to help take notes during the event, 2) assemble a comprehensive summary of what was discussed, 3) produce a short (300-400 words) summary for the JMEC website. You may be asked to attend a preparatory meeting with organizers (typically via zoom).

CBC New Brunswick is hiring journalism students to work in our Fredericton newsroom
for the summer. Positions are approximately 12 weeks, including 3 weeks of training,
starting in mid to late May. Exact dates are to be determined. CBC will help cover some
travel expenses to get you to Fredericton and home again.
These are paid temporary positions doing reporter work, associate producer work and
research, producing stories and content for CBC platforms online, radio, and video.

Dans le cadre de l’Initiative de journalisme local (IJL), le média numérique Mon Plateau | Mon Mile End est à la recherche d’un-e journaliste pour couvrir l’actualité dans les différents quartiers du Plateau-Mont-Royal : le Mile End, Milton Parc, le Petit Laurier et le secteur Plateau Est.
Il s’agit d’un poste contractuel à temps plein (40h/semaine) rémunéré à 24$/h. Le contrat se termine le 31 mars 2025 avec possibilité de renouvellement.
